In the most superlative terms, the Core i7 is the “fastest desktop processor on Earth for the most demanding users on Earth.” In all there are three processors under the Core i7 series — the $999 Core i7-965 Extreme Edition (3.2GHz), $562 Core i7- 940 (2.93GHz), and $284 Core i7- 920 (2.66GHz). All of them provides 8MB cache, and support for DDR3-1066 memory.
